Marie José De Mulder keerde halverwege februari terug uit haar geliefde India waar ze op jaarlijks bezoek was met haar vriendin Wilma, die haar enkele weken gezelschap hield.
Hoewel onze eigen Indische ambassadrice uit Poppel deze week moeilijke tijden beleeft door het verlies van haar goede vriendin Marie Verwimp, kreeg ze eerder vorige maand toch ook goed nieuws voor haar sponsorproject van boorputten waarvoor ze steun zocht bij Pidpa.
Voor de tweede maal kreeg ze een mooie cheque van onze regionale watermaatschappij. Daarmee kan ze weer enkele honderden families gelukkig maken. Haar geluk kon niet op want ze ziet alweer de wens van zovelen in vervulling gaan.
De meeste families in deze onherbergzame streken hebben geen toegang tot stromend water en met deze fantastische initiatieven worden vele families verlicht in hun streven om wat hygiëne te brengen in tijden waar handen wassen zo cruciaal is.

Marie José De Mulder returned to Belgium in mid-February from her beloved India for her annual visit where she was accompanied by her friend Wilma, who was with her for several weeks.
Although our own Indian ambassador from Poppel is experiencing difficult times this week due to the loss of her good friend Marie Verwimp, she also received good news earlier last month for her bore well sponsor project for which she sought support from Pidpa.
For the second time she received a nice check from our regional water company. With that she can make several hundred families happy again. Her happiness could not be greater, because she sees the wish of so many fulfilled again.
Most families in these inhospitable regions have no access to running water, and these fantastic initiatives help ease many families' efforts to bring some hygiene in times where hand washing is so crucial.
